The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is an important channel for China’s foreign trade and an important window for opening up to the outside world. It has played a very important role in promoting the development of China’s foreign trade and promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries. It is known as “China’s No. 1 Exhibition” and the “barometer” and “weather vane” of China’s foreign trade.
The Canton Fair is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Center. It is held in Guangzhou, China in spring and autumn every year. Since its establishment in 1957, the Canton Fair has always maintained the characteristics of China’s longest exhibition history, largest scale, the largest number of buyers from the widest range of countries, the most complete product categories, and the best transaction results. So far, it has been successfully held for 135 sessions.
